• bareMinerals – Get Started Complexion

    June 28, 2012
“Everything you need for complexion perfection from foundation to finishing touches- is right here in one complete kit for you. You get all the coverage you want, but look and feel like you’re not wearing makeup at all. Now with Click, Lock, Go, this innovative packaging means you can take your favourite foundation anywhere you go – no spills, no mess, no worries. – bareMinerals “
My boyfriend’s mom gave this to me. I was excited when boyfriend handed this to me. I opened it when he left. This is probably the best kit for me when I am rushing. I just have to apply this on my face and ready to go. The information above is true, “Look and Feel like you’re not wearing makeup at all”. It can cover all the imperfections on your face. The good thing about this is, it is made in minerals so it is good for all the skin types, specially for sensitive skins.
So, What’s inside? Here it is.
So Tita Arlene got it from Sephora.
The box is not big and not small. Just the average size.

Here’s the guide on how to use and stuff.

Another best thing about this, it comes with a DVD.
It comes with a tutorial videos. They teach you on how to apply it, which is good for all the first time users like me. I’ve watched everything. The tutorials are amazing.
So, here are the 5 different kinds of Powder.
    1. bareMinerals in MEDIUM: ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation gives you all the flawless coverage you want with a naturally luminous finish that won’t clump or cake.
    2.  bareMinerals in MEDIUM BEIGE: ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation gives you all the flawless coverage you want with a naturally luminous finish that won’t clump or cake.
    3. bareMinerals in WARMTH: Create your own endless summer. Warmth All-Over Face Color adds rich, velvety colour to your complexion to give you a radiant, healthy-looking hue.
    4. bareMinerals in MINERAL VEIL: Make the most of your makeup with Mineral Veil, a see-through but spectacular finale for any kind of complexion.
    5. bareMinerals in SUMMER BISQUE: A mineral-based powder miracle concealer and eye shadow base.

    1. Max Coverage Concealer: Use a patting technique to cover imperfections before or after applying your foundation, and you’ll get maximum coverage that blends completely and doesn’t leave a line.
    2. Flawless Face: The lighter multi-purpose brush for the multi-taskers that we are. With its soft-tapered, semi-round bristles, this versatile brush works great
    3. Full Flawless Face: If you prefer more coverage, this versatile brush works great with bareMinerals

It comes with a Prime Time – Foundation Primer, too. Apply it first for the smooth, evenly textured complexion you’ve been waiting for.
This kit is really good for everyday coverage.

  • Lipstick Collection

    June 27, 2012
*Sorry for the poor quality, photos are taken from iPhone

So here are my lipstick collection. I have 8 lipsticks in total.
First lipstick: Avon, I didn’t really use it. It was my mom who used it more than I did, simply because I’m not a fan of red lipstick. Not really?
Second and third: Lancôme. It was a gift from a family friend in USA. It was a set, but I gave mom all the face and eye cosmetics and took the lipsticks. I like the texture, because it is not chunky unlike other lipsticks.
Forth lipstick: NYX Round Lipstick in Christie. It is Pink and has purple undertone shade and is a lil bit shimmery. Good thing about this is, it is not chunky.
Fifth lipstick: NYX Black Label in Apple. I am not a fan of red lipstick, but I am in love with this shade. It is not chunky not shimmery, just a perfect red. I use this when I don’t have any makeup aside from powder.
Sixth lipstick: MAC Creme d’ Nude. My very first MAC lipstick. It is chunky and doesn’t really suit my lips, but I love the nude shade. I mix this together with my HOT PINK NYX Lipstick, and it gives me a lighter look of pink.
Seventh & Eighth lipstick: NYX Round lipstick in HOT PINK and NYX Matte in Summer Breeze. Definitely my favourite shade of Pink.

  • NYX Collections

    June 27, 2012

The very first make up I’ve ever had are particularly from NYX, ELF and Maybelline. So here, I have my NYX collection, well not all are in the picture. I forgot to take all of them.

*Sorry for the poor quality. Photos are taken from iPhone.

Here are some of my NYX make ups. I am really in love with NYX. If you are in a tight budget then NYX is a perfect match for you. They are inexpensive and in good quality. I’ve watched lots of makeup videos in Youtube and most makeup gurus use this. So, I decided to get some for myself. I didn’t regret buying them. They are really good.

NYX Round Lipstick in Hot Pink
I have nothing much to say about this lipstick. But it is really good. I love the shade. It is really HOT PINK. I would recommend this to all the PNK LOVERS out there.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Summer Breeze & NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in Rosy
    – I love matte lipstick and this shade is the perfect shade of pink I want. The only thing I dislike about it is, it is a lil bit chunky. But over all it is good.
    – On the other hand, NYX Mosaic Powder blush is the perfect blush ever. It has different shades of pink. I like the finish look because it gives my face a lil shine as the centre part of the blush stands as the highlighter. It really gives that “Rosy chick” look.

NYX Ultra Pearl & NYX Single Eyeshadows in Silver and Pure Gold
A friend of mine gave me this on my 18th Birthday. NYX Single Eyeshadow in Pure Gold is my favourite shade of all. It is really good. I guess it suits all skin tone? hm? Anyway, I use my NYX Ultra Pearl for my tear duct highlight. I don’t really use it for eyeshadow, more of a highlighter.
I recommend each lady to own at least any of NYX cosmetics. Their cosmetics are really good and inexpensive. Good luck gorgeous!

  • Urban Decay: Ammo Palette

    June 26, 2012

Ammo Palette is my very first Urban Decay item. A friend of mine gave me this during my 18th Birthday party. I really love this palette but the only thing I don’t like is the fact that all the shades are shimmery, like “Party on the Go”. I am not really a fan of Shimmery Eye Shadows, but over all, I am happy with this palette. The shades are really pigmented, and that’s the part I love the most. You don’t have to take so much to apply.

Outside look, I love the packaging of this palette.
     Inside look,
It has 10 shades and a sponge applicator. I don’t really use the sponge, as I have my own eyeshadow brush.

It has a built in mirror. Love the border at the side.

Swatch 1: SMOG, MILDEW, OIL STICK, LAST CALL, CHOPPER

Swatch 2: MAUI WOWIE, SHATTERED, POLYESTER BRIDE, GRIFTER, SIN
Of all the shades, my favourites are Smog, Chopper and Sin. I love neutral shades. and that 3 shades fall under the ‘neutral’ category. But honestly, i don’t have idea on how to use Polyester bride, a shimmery white shade. Because I normally use matte shade to highlight my brow bone area. So I am guessing that Polyester Bride is good for highlighting inner corner of my eyes. Hm?
Over all, this palette is good and would recommend to those gorgeous ladies who like SHIMMERY SHADES. Urban Decay Ammo Palette is for you.

    Love,
    Anico Hanna

  • Bangkok Trip

    June 25, 2012

5 days trip to Bangkok, Thailand with my parents. We didn’t really get to tour the place. We focused in shopping instead. That was the most memorable shopping I did in my 18 years of existence. “Shoo till you Drop”. That was the highlight if our trip. I bought tons of clothes and I am excited to blog about it. So that’s all for my Bangkok trip. Nothing much because, what I really did there was shopping and nothing else.

    Love,
