    Disclaimer: Sponsored review

As promised, here’s my review after a month of using the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil. If you read my post about the Shu Uemura event, I stated there that I am not a fan of cleansing oils. My skin is every oily especially the T-zone and is acne prone. In the SH event, misconceptions about cleansing oils were cleared and I am so happy to get to try the travel size of this after everything. So let’s move on the the review.

Talking about my face being super oily, I didn’t know this cleansing oil is going to be my HG cleanser. There are different types of cleansing oil Shu Uemura offers, but the “POREfinist Anti-Shine fresh cleansing oil” is the perfect one that targets my concern; Oily, Shine and Acne.

One of the main reason why I don’t put makeup like how I used to before is that my skin is super oily and I tend to breakout a lot. The second thing is that, I can be lazy at time when it comes to removing my makeup AND cleaning my face. Working 8 hours a day can be tiring and I only look forward to resting and sleeping at the end of the day. BUT, it is a must for us to cleanse our face and that is why I love this cleanser.

The cleansing oils are some sort of multi cleanser. This is not your ordinary cleanser. It serves as your make up remover AND your cleanser. How is that? Let me tell you how to cleanse your face using this cleanser.

Step 1: use 2-3 pumps of cleansing oil on DRY HANDS only

Step 2: spread gently and thoroughly over the dry face (Removing make up)

Step 3: wet your hand with lukewarm water and massage your face to emulsify. the oil will turn milky white and that is the cleansing part

Step 4: rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and bam, you are done!

Personally, I love this cleanser and I foresee myself using this till I don’t know when. So what are the pros and cons of this cleanser. Let’s break it down.

    1. Easy to use

    2. Non greasy

    3. Didn’t break me out

    4. leaves skin feeling refreshed

    5. lightweight cleanser

    6. removes stubborn makeup like waterproof mascara

    7. don’t have to double cleanse

    1. Pricey;

    – But hey, it’s a good investment. You are paying one for the price of two – Cleanser & Make Up remover and it can last you for couple of months.

I think it is good to pamper our skin once in awhile. I hope this review help and gave you a heads up about this cleanser.

It was my very first event as a Clozette Ambassador. I was so excited when I received an email from Lystra regarding this event. But it took couple of days before I send my RSVP as I am working on that day. Anyhow, I managed go, yey.
An exclusive sneak peak of the product of Shu Uemura. I was given the privilege together with the 9 other Clozette Ambassadors to see and learn more about Shu Uemura’s latest cleansing oil; the new blanc: chroma brightening & polishing gentle cleansing oil

When it comes to great skin, an effective cleansing plays a big role. I am not very picky when it comes to cleanser till I had my major breakout. My skin is very oily and acne prone so when I heard of “Cleansing Oil”, I knew that it is not for me. Since my face is already oily and I don’t want to add up more oils to it. But thank goodness for this beauty talk. All the misconceptions about cleansing oils that we’ve had were finally cleared. Thanks to Zh Hui for clearing it up for all of us girls.

The latest addition: the blanc: chroma brightening and polishing gentle cleansing oil. This product promises not only to cleanse stubborn makeup including the waterproof ones, but to also effectively exfoliate or polishes away accumulated dead skin cells containing melanin on the skin surface that cause uneven and dull skin tone. In addition to “4D Complex“, NEW exclusive technology. It has Clay EX, a combination of purifying Clay Extract and polishing Lipo HA that lightens the skin tone by thoroughly removing all the impurities. This one-step cleansing routine leaves you feeling clean, refreshed and with a clear complexion like never before.

We were asked to draw our concerns on our face in this cute Japanese cartoon like photo. So here’s mine:

    • Small red dots represents my never ending pimples and scars
    • Black dots as large pores
    • Orange lines all over my face telling you guys that my face is super oily everywhere. I actually thought of shading the whole face
    • Black lines under my eyes, because of DARK CIRLES >__<

Am I harsh for doing this? No worries, I love my imperfections. haha

We also get to see a demo from one of their Professional Makeup Artist “Jhun”. I believe he is a Filipino but didn’t get to talk to him because he is a very busy person and needs to go asap. So he did a little demo on how to cleanse using the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil. I love his aura. The tips he gave were truly amazing and I am applying it. really! I am definitely going to look for him in any of the Shu Uemura counter.

Here’s a group photo together with the other Clozette Ambasssadors, Clozette peeps and Shu Uemura peeps. It was indeed a very awesome and cozy day.

Not forgetting to take a “Wefie” with my girls. We took lots of pictures together but here’s one of the best!

An #OOTD shot of what I wore that day.

Top from IloveNLclothing. Skirt from Romwe. Heels from Zalora.

And finally, we get to go home with a travel size of our chosen Cleansing Oil. I picked this because it is the oil that targets my concerns. I am going to make a separate blog post about this. Most likely a review on this product after a month of use. So wait for it babes.

    Hi my beautiful viewers,
Today, I am excited to share with you my Makeup Collection. It was actually requested for so long already by many of my viewers. I don’t have that much of makeup, just enough for my personal use and tutorials.

I’ve always wanted to have my own room, though, I had one back when I was a lil girl. Now that I am a teenager and at the right age to have my own room, I didn’t get the chance to have one. If you are aware of Singapore being a “High-Standard Living”, it is really hard to get one. So I had to share with my Ate, but that is totally fine with me. My dream of having a nice and big vanity corner is still a dream. Maybe when I get a job.
